Nếu vi phạm luật an toàn giao thông thì chỉ nên bị phạt, chứ sao lại tịch thu xe của người ta?
Hành vi này chẳng khác nào cướp của người dân.
Ở các nước phương Tây, cảnh sát không bao giờ có hành động tịch thu xe của người dân, dù là vi phạm lỗi gì. Nếu người tham gia giao thông vi phạm, họ chỉ bị phạt tiền. Trong một số trường hợp, khi cảnh sát phát hiện xe bị mất cắp, họ sẽ giữ xe lại và sau đó liên lạc với chủ xe để họ đến nhận lại.
Tình trạng ở Việt Nam thì khác. Chỉ cần vi phạm nhỏ, CSGT đã đòi tịch thu xe, mà không rõ là để làm gì???
